Credit Union National Association is aware of a number of emails that are circulating under the subject of Account De-Activation or Account Status Alert. These emails ask that the customer call a number in order to have their account reactivated. All of these emails are fraudulent and are an attempt to collect personal information. Please do not respond to these messages. The Credit Union National Association is the trade association for credit unions in the United States. CUNA does not maintain any type of customer/member financial information nor email addresses. Additionally, Cherokee County Federal Credit Union would never solicit your personal identification information via email. If you did respond to such a solicitation, please contact us immediately.

Southern Cherokee Federal Credit Union (SCFCU) was founded as Rusk State Hospital Employees Credit Union on March 12, 1960. The name changed from Southern Cherokee Federal to Cherokee County Federal in October of 2009 and is now serving the entire Cherokee County Area. |
